The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports over 500,000 Australians with disability to access the services and supports they need. The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community.

The Better Access initiative gives Medicare rebates to eligible people, so they can access the mental health services they need. Rebates for up to 10 sessions per year may be available.

Support is available from eligible general practitioners (GPs) and other medical practitioners, psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists. Please note that this cannot be used for Speech Pathology services.
