Our approach
Overland Speech Therapy is a mobile Speech Pathology service supporting people of all ages. We provide collaborative, person-centred and evidence-based support that is individualised to each person, their strengths, preferences, circumstances and goals.
We take a neuroaffirming, culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach, recognising that every person communicates, learns and engages with the world in their own way. We value lived experience and work alongside clients, families and other important people in their lives to create a safe and supportive space where people can be themselves.
We believe therapy should be meaningful and relevant to everyday life. Wherever possible, we work in familiar environments and focus on building confidence, communication, connection and participation in the things that matter most to each person.
We come to you
Overland Speech Therapy provides mobile Speech Pathology services in homes, childcare, schools, workplaces, day programs and other community settings. Providing support in familiar, everyday environments helps make therapy relevant, accessible and responsive to each person’s needs and goals.
Regular services are available across the Allyn, Paterson and Williams Valleys and surrounding rural communities, including Vacy, Paterson, Martins Creek, Gresford, East Gresford, Dungog, Clarence Town, Seaham, Booral, Stroud and surrounding communities. Scheduled outreach is also available to Gloucester. Please contact us to discuss availability in your location.
An established outreach day is available in the Blue Mountains once a fortnight during school terms for existing clients. Please note that new enquiries are not currently being accepted for the Blue Mountains.
